Description

En Attendant Œdipe is a solo performance using clowning, mime, and improvisational acting to revisit Sophocles’ play Oedipus Rex. In this approach, the fourth wall is broken, and the audience is actively involved. Between a lesson in mythology and a dramatic performance, the show aims to be as entertaining through the clown’s antics as it is profoundly thought-provoking.

It touches on themes of love, freedom, monsters, education, Freud & Jung, gender, politics, the body, detective novels, Star Wars, and moments of silence.
