Zita is a graduate of Dell’arte International, holds a Masters in Environmental Studies from York University and is a PhD candidate in Performance Studies at York University. She is the 2017\/18 Dramatist in Residency at The Heliconian Club in Toronto. Her interdisciplinary performances have been presented at The Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival, Rhubarb, Toronto Festival of Clowns, Edmonton Play the Fool Festival, Guelph Contemporary Dance Festival, NBacts Theatre Festival, Clay & Paper Theatre, Nightwood Theatre, Theatre Passe Muraille and Harbourfront Centre. Internationally she has worked with the National Gallery in Jamaica, Dance House in Scotland, Pilobolus Dance Theatre in Connecticut, Odin Teatret in Denmark and Klintkalaset in Sweden. She has participated in Director’s Lab North, Circus Sessions, Montreal working group on circus research and the Auxiliary Training Program at Crow’s Theatre. She is in the Cirque du Soleil database.
